Due dates and the agent concession

Quarterly BAS is generally due on 28 October, 28 February, 28 April and 28 July. When an eligible registered agent lodges electronically, the ATO allows later dates for most quarters (for 2026–27: 25 November, 26 May and 25 August); there is no extension for the December quarter due 28 February.

Who can lodge your BAS

Only a BAS agent or tax agent registered with the Tax Practitioners Board can charge a fee for BAS services. Top Accountants is a Registered Tax Agent, so we can prepare, lodge and talk to the ATO for you.

How we work with Brisbane clients

We don’t have a Brisbane office. We work online, by phone and by video call. Brisbane doesn’t use daylight saving, so our 9am–5pm (Melbourne time) is 8am–4pm in Brisbane from October to April.
